The AHEC mission is to enhance access to quality health care, particularly primary and preventive care, by improving the supply and distribution of healthcare professionals via strategic partnerships with academic programs, communities, and professional organizations.

Because Scenic Rivers AHEC receives most of our funding from government sources, it is still critical for us to keep our representatives updated and supportive of our programming. But they don't want to hear it from us -- they want to know the real impact that we are making for students.
