What’s your hometown? Cedarburg, WI


What school are you attending? UW-La Crosse


What is your intended profession/what’s your major? Public health-Community health


Why do you want to be a health professional? Why is it important to you? To positively impact the greatest amount of people's lives as possible. I have seen and experienced all the benefits that public health professionals can provide and it is truly life altering.


Where is your Community Health Internship Program (CHIP) host site? Winding Rivers Library System What are you doing there? Coordinating various health events with all 20 plus system libraries.


Why did you want to participate in CHIP? To get out in the field!

What's something you hope to learn/have learned that will impact your future work? Mastering my communication skills and learning how to interact with a wide variety of people.


What are you most looking forward to/what has been your favorite part so far? Seeing the small towns and seeing what amazing people there are working hard for their communities.


What advice would you give to younger students who are interested in working in public health? Be open to change. Be an active listener.


Anything else to add? I have thoroughly enjoyed my time thus far and interacting with the public is very fulfilling.
