We look to give students as much real-life exposure as we can for each one of our programs. By teaming up with local health organizations such as Gundersen Health Systems for Hands on Health Days, students get to meet with healthcare professionals for individual job shadows.
Followed by the job shadows, students get to view simulations in the world-class simulation labs at the Integrated Center for Education (ICE House) on the Gundersen, La Crosse campus.
On March 26th, students from Bangor, Blair-Taylor, Hillsboro and La Farge high schools participated in this event designed to provide hands on job related experience to future healthcare professionals.
