Students and professionals who have completed 40 hours or more of AHEC programming are eligible to join the AHEC Alumni Association. The AHEC Alumni Association works to connect prospective students, current students, and healthcare professionals working in the field, to form networking opportunities and support.
In August, the Wisconsin AHEC Alumni Association welcomed in new board officers. McKenna Pedretti, a senior at Galesville Ettrick Trempealeau High School was selected to represent the Scenic Rivers AHEC Region.
Mckenna has participated in several AHEC programs including: Health Careers Camp, Hands-on Health Day, Exploratory Surgery Day, AHEConnect Mentor Program, and more.
