What was your favorite or most useful experience from the health careers camp?
My favorite experience at the AHEC camp was going to an actual hospital and getting to see behind the scenes look of healthcare by job shadowing.
What experience at camp has proved most useful as you think about your future?
The most useful experience that I had while I was at camp was going to the hospitals and job shadowing. This was very eye opening because you get a behind the scenes look at what you could potentially be doing in the future. This helped a lot, because it actually changed my mind on my career choice.
What advice would you give to younger students starting to navigate their future in a health care career?
My advice to younger students would be that you should definitely consider going to an AHEC camp, it is very useful and helps you think about your options that you have. It is also a very fun time!
