We held our first Behavioral Health Careers Exploration Day on March 24, 2017 in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Last week we took a group of students from Independence and Holmen High School to the Integrated Center for Education (ICE House) at Gundersen Health System, so they could participate in healthcare simulations in the world class simulation labs for Hands on Health Day. Simulations include arthroscopic surgery, CPR, intubation and vital signs. Students were also job shadowed healthcare professionals.
